| 시설장비 설명 | 방사선조사시설 방사선조사시설(Radiation Irradiation Facilities)은 방사선기술개발에 기반이 되는 연구시설로서 감마선조사장치, 선형전자가속기 및 이온주입장치가 있음. 감마선조사장치(Gamma-ray Irradiator)는 고준위(490 kCi) 및 저준위(3 kCi)가 있으며 Co-60 선원을 사용함. 투과력이 강하고 열이 발생되지 않는 장점이 있어 공업, 환경, 식품, 공중보건분야 등에서 연구 및 산업적으로 활용되고 있음. 선형전자가속기(Linear Electron Accelerator)의 최대 가속전압 및 전류는 각각 10MeV, 1mA이며, 짧은 처리시간과 살균효과로 인하여 오폐수처리, 식품류 및 의료품의 멸균 등에 이용됨. 이온주입장치(Ion Implanter)는 기체이온을 고분자, 금속, 세라믹 등의 재료에 주입하여 재료의 표면특성을 개질하는데 활용되는 장비로서, 최대 가속전압 및 빔전류는 각각 300keV, 5mA (N+ 기준)임. The facilities for radiation irradiation The facilities for radiation irradiation are essential and fundamental facilities to develop radiation technology and include gamma-ray irradiators, a linear electron accelerator, and an ion implanter. Gamma-ray irradiators consist of a high density gamma-ray irradiator(490 kCi) and a low density gamma-ray irradiator(3 kCi) and both irradiators use the pencil typed Co-60 as a source. Because of powerful permeability and no thermo-generation, those are utilized for research and development in the area of industry, environment, food, sanitation and so on. The maximum acceleration voltage and current for the linear electron accelerator is 10 MeV and 1 mA, respectively. The short processing time and sterilization effect makes it possible for this apparatus to apply the sludge treatment and the sterilization of foodstuffs and medical products. Ion implanter which is used for the modification of surface characteristics of materials like polymers, ceramics, and metals accelerates various positive gas ions including hydrogen, nitrogen and argon. With reference to N+, its maximum acceleration voltage and current is 300 keV and 5 mA. |
